Richard Rickover is one of Beaver's best friends.

Richard is first introduced in Season 3 and appears more as the show progresses. While he's not as close to Beaver as Larry or Gilbert, he still has a strong tendency to get himself and Beaver into trouble.

His actor is also named Richard (Rich Correll). In more recent years, he has written, produced, and directed for many TV shows, and is the co-creator of the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana.
